The Dorfbahn Railway in Serfaus
Serfaus is proud to have the smallest underground railway in the world with air cushion suspension. The free Dorfbahn runs through a 1,280-metre-long tunnel that was built using the open-cut method.
It links the car park on the eastern edge of the village facing the valley with the cable car stations in the valley of the Komperdell ski resort on the western edge of the village facing the mountain and has four stops. The “Zentrum” (centre) station is directly opposite our hotel.

During the main seasons (winter and summer) the Dorfbahn runs between 07:45 and 19:00.
In winter, it runs until midnight every Wednesday (Adventure Night).
