We at the Darrehof made a conscious decision to make our hotel sustainable wherever possible with a clear awareness of the environment and resources. Because it is a matter of the heart for us to be socially and ecologically responsible towards future generations.

We have already been able to implement a lot, such as photovoltaics, pellet heating, green electricity, regional organic hygiene products for refilling – and we will achieve even more together.

Sustainable energy thanks to pellet heating and photovoltaics

With our pellet heating we save 50,000 liters a year compared to conventional oil heating. In addition, we rely on energy generation through photovoltaics and green electricity.

Regional food & sustainable products

Whenever possible, we obtain our food from regional suppliers and organically grown food, and the same applies to the care and cleaning products used in our hotel.
